Itinerary
This 9-day journey through Morocco offers the perfect balance of culture, history, and desert adventure. Begin in Casablanca with the grand Hassan II Mosque before continuing to the capital city of Rabat, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel north into the Rif Mountains to explore the enchanting blue-washed medina of Chefchaouen, then head to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual heart, where the medieval medina of Fes el-Bali (UNESCO) comes alive with vibrant souks, tanneries, and Islamic architecture.
The adventure continues south through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels into the Sahara and spend a magical night in a desert camp under the stars. From there, journey through the dramatic landscapes of the Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley, visit the iconic fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO), and cross the High Atlas to arrive in lively Marrakech. End your trip with a guided exploration of its colorful medina, palaces, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.
